Interim Talent Acquisition Specialist
Compensation: $50 - $60 per hour
Location: New York City (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office, Manhattan)
Industry: CPG (open to profiles from life sciences, retail, or similar fast paced environments)
Duration: 6 months (Start ASAP)
We are partnering with a consumer goods organization to hire an Interim Talent Acquisition Specialist to support senior-level hiring across corporate functions. This role is suited to a more experienced TA professional with strong stakeholder management skills, exposure to leadership hiring, and experience operating in fast-paced retail or CPG environments.
Working within a lean HR team, this individual will lead recruitment for exempt-level roles across the US, coordinate international hiring processes, and partner closely with senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for exempt and senior-level roles across US corporate functions
- Partner directly with C-suite and senior leadership on hiring strategy and talent planning
- Manage recruitment intake meetings, candidate screening, and hiring recommendations
- Coordinate international TA processes across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
- Collaborate with regional recruiters and external partners to ensure consistent hiring practices globally
- Drive recruitment for marketing and corporate leadership roles
- Provide market insight and talent mapping within CPG / retail environments
- Support onboarding, background checks (HireRight), and offer management
- Partner with HR leadership on enterprise-level TA initiatives and process improvements
Key Requirements
- Strong Talent Acquisition experience recruiting senior and exempt-level roles across the US
- Proven experience supporting leadership and C-suite stakeholders
- Background in CPG, retail, or consumer-focused organizations strongly preferred
- Experience managing or coordinating international hiring processes
- Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Experience recruiting marketing or commercial roles is highly desirable
- Exposure to enterprise-level TA processes within structured organizations (e.g., large CPG, consumer brands)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
