We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Director to lead our HR function during this pivotal growth phase. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned professional who can architect and execute a people strategy that supports our ambitious business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a true business partner, capable of building a world-class HR infrastructure, driving cultural transformation, and scaling our workforce effectively. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and development to employee engagement and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with the senior leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with and enable key business goals, including operational expansion, productivity improvements, and market leadership.
- Organizational Development & Design: Lead the design of the organizational structure to support rapid scaling. Drive initiatives related to change management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all levels, from shop floor technicians to senior engineers and managers. Build a strong employer brand.
- Performance & Growth Culture: Develop and implement robust performance management systems, goal-setting frameworks (e.g., OKRs), and career development pathways to foster a high-performance culture.
- Learning & Development: Identify skill gaps and create comprehensive L&D programs to upskill the workforce, ensure technical competency, and build leadership capabilities within the organization.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation and benefits structures to attract and retain talent in a competitive manufacturing landscape.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on complex employee relations issues. Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention. Champion our core values and culture.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies, processes, and practices are efficient, scalable, and fully compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Leverage HR technology and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Industrial/Labor Relations: Provide expert guidance on labor law and proactively manage relationships to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 8-10 years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as an HR Head or Director.
- Proven experience in a large-scale manufacturing or heavy industrial environment is non-negotiable.
- Demonstrated expertise in scaling a workforce and managing HR for a large (3000 ), diverse employee base, including blue-collar and white-collar workers.
- Deep knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and best practices in industrial relations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into effective HR initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience as a change agent and a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
