We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Maintenance Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with basic electrical experience and a strong willingness to develop their skills in maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training to perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist senior technicians in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues under supervision.
- Support senior technicians in preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help maintain maintenance logs and documentation of work performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (wiring, circuits, etc.) is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance best practices.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to grow in the field.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus but not required.
