Position Overview
This safety-sensitive role oversees the maintenance and upkeep of apartment homes, common areas, exterior grounds, and related equipment. The position leads maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds staff to ensure all work meets company standards and delivers an excellent resident experience. The role follows established community office hours to support smooth operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise maintenance technicians, housekeeping/janitorial staff, caretakers, and groundskeepers as assigned by the Community Manager.
- Property Maintenance & Appearance:
Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-kept community. Conduct daily inspections of interior and exterior areas to ensure proper upkeep and cleanliness. Perform groundskeeping duties when needed.
- Preventive Maintenance:
Carry out and document scheduled preventive maintenance for apartments, shared spaces, and equipment.
- Inventory & Purchasing:
Maintain an organized stock of parts and supplies and follow company purchasing procedures.
- Pool Care (if applicable)
Perform daily chemical testing, cleaning, and maintenance to meet city regulations and company requirements.
- Resident Service:
Support high resident satisfaction and respond to on-call maintenance needs, including weather-related emergencies, as requested.
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of residential/ multifamily property maintenance experience.
- Maintenance of Pool and HVAC settings are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per hour
