Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining residential apartment homes, common areas, outdoor grounds, and all related equipment. The position also supervises maintenance, housekeeping, caretaking, and grounds staff to ensure high standards, smooth operations, and excellent resident satisfaction. Work hours will follow the community’s designated office schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Supervise housekeeping/janitorial staff, maintenance technicians, caretakers, and groundskeepers as directed by the Community Manager.
- Property Maintenance & Appearance: Ensure the community is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. Conduct daily interior and exterior inspections. Perform groundskeeping duties when needed.
- Preventive Maintenance: Carry out and document preventive maintenance for apartments, common areas, and equipment.
- Inventory & Purchasing: Maintain organized inventory of parts and supplies and follow company purchasing guidelines.
- Pool Care (if applicable): Complete daily chemical checks, cleaning, and maintenance to meet city and company standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure high resident satisfaction and be available for on-call emergencies such as snow removal.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of residential property maintenance experience (residential apartment homes, common areas, outdoor grounds, and all related equipment)
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Pool and HVAC certifications preferred.
- Boiler certification preferred (if applicable).
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
