We’re partnering with a leading structural contractor to hire a MiTek Designer to support their growing engineering and preconstruction team.

This is a fully onsite, hands-on position where your MiTek skills will directly shape the accuracy, efficiency, and buildability of residential and commercial projects.

• Develop detailed MiTek-based designs for wall panels, trusses, and structural systems
• Produce shop drawings, layouts, and engineering calculations directly within MiTek
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to ensure alignment with design intent and load paths
• Work closely with estimators, project managers, and field teams to support project constructability
• Provide design insight during preconstruction to improve materials usage, cost control, and workflow efficiency
• Verify all designs meet building codes, engineering standards, and project specifications

• 2 years of hands-on MiTek experience (required)
• Background in wall panel and truss design
• Strong understanding of wood and panelized construction
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Degree or certification in construction or engineering (preferred, not required)
