Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop detailed truss designs for residential and commercial projects.
- Utilize design software to produce accurate and efficient truss layouts.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Review and modify existing truss designs based on client feedback or structural analysis.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients and project stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in truss design and familiarity with design software (Mitek preferred).
- Strong understanding of building codes and structural analysis principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
