We’ve partnered with a well-established and growing food & consumer products organization to hire a Buyer / Supply Planner to support procurement and supply chain operations.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability, managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting demand planning activities.
What You’ll Be DoingIdentify suppliers, negotiate pricing, and place purchase orders
Monitor inventory levels and optimize safety stock
Support forecasting and demand alignment activities
Track supplier performance, service levels, and inventory metrics
Maintain accurate item and vendor data in ERP systems
Coordinate deliveries, follow up on orders, and manage exceptions
Partner with Quality and Operations on compliance and performance
Create reports and support continuous improvement initiatives
3 years in buying, purchasing, or supply planning roles
Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting
ERP experience (SAP a plus, not required)
Understanding of inventory management and supply chain fundamentals
Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment
Stable organization with long-term growth
Exposure to global suppliers and diverse product categories
