What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle across commercial service contracts, retrofit projects, replacements, and construction opportunities.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
- Conduct client visits, site assessments, surveys, and scope reviews to diagnose HVAC needs.
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates for service agreements and projects.
- Partner daily with internal engineering, estimating, project management, and service teams to confirm feasibility, pricing, and technical accuracy.
- Negotiate contract terms, schedules, and pricing to close profitable work.
- Maintain pipeline transparency through activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Stay ahead of HVAC innovations, energy efficiency strategies, controls/automation, and building code requirements.
- 5 years of success in commercial HVAC sales, estimating, or engineering.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with AutoCAD or estimating tools is a plus.
- Strong deal-making, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A self-starter who takes ownership—making calls, building leads, and driving activity without needing micromanagement.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.
- Degree preferred but not required; performance matters more than credentials.
- Open to candidates from related industries (fire protection, mechanical, industrial, etc.).
- A track record that shows consistency—even if the résumé has sales-related movement, the reasons must make sense.
- This is a role for a true hunter who loves being on the road, thrives on closing big deals, and wants the autonomy to build their own territory.
