HVAC Inside Sales Engineer (Bilingual)

Summary:

Provide comprehensive technical and administrative support throughout the sales process, including equipment selection and quotation. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle to ensure compliance and timely execution, from purchase order entry to delivery and documentation handover. Collaborate with after-sales, logistics, and finance teams to facilitate invoicing and closure, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures. The role is critical to achieving assigned sales quotas and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales process by managing customer accounts and assisting in client development.
• Analyze and interpret project specifications to efficiently select appropriate products.
• Maintain and update customer information and quotations in Salesforce.com.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotations and submittals.
• Monitor and communicate equipment delivery timelines (VRV/APP) to clients.
• Coordinate with Logistics for inventory management of VRV/APP products.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers on client requests and project scope changes.
• Create product selections that meet project specifications.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to customer requirements.
• Develop technical solutions and alternatives, including energy analysis reports with conclusions.
• Prepare product, application, and market presentations in English/Spanish.
• Deliver presentations and training sessions in English/Spanish.
• Manage and coordinate post-sales processes, including logistics, commissioning, warranties, and documentation handover.
• Perform cost estimation for projects.
• Maintain an updated pipeline by tracking opportunities.
• Follow up on sales from purchase order entry through equipment delivery, including documentation for invoicing and project closure.
• Provide feedback on changes, new requirements, and challenges.
• Support customers with information related to product selection and project details.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or technical degree in Mechanical Technology or similar.
• Bilingual: Spanish & English 100% (spoken, written, read, and interpreted).

Experience:

• Up to 2 years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, or related areas.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding and application of best practices in refrigeration and air conditioning.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC product specifications.
• Advanced understanding of product features and benefits.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Thermodynamics and energy efficiency principles.
• Familiarity with all HVAC products.
