About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established, high-growth manufacturing and distribution organization in South Florida that’s scaling rapidly across national and international markets. With increasing product volume and operational complexity, they’re seeking a Director of Distribution & Warehouse Operations to lead and elevate performance across multiple warehouse locations and/or a highly complex, high-volume distribution environment.
This is a true executive-facing leadership role reporting directly to the COO. You’ll oversee the movement of 2M in product volume while driving efficiency, inventory accuracy, service levels, and overall operational execution across the network.
This role is ideal for a seasoned warehouse leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands distribution at scale, and wants full ownership of performance, people, and process improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily warehouse and distribution operations across multiple sites or a complex single-site operation.
- Drive improvements in throughput, order accuracy, labor productivity, and on-time fulfillment.
- Maintain strong inventory control, minimize shrinkage, and improve inventory turns.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including fill rate, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Optimize warehouse layout, slotting strategy, and workflow design to increase output and reduce waste.
- Leverage ERP/WMS systems and advanced Excel to analyze operational data and guide decisions.
- Standardize processes as the organization continues to grow and scale.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment from production to customer delivery.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams.
- Build a high-accountability culture focused on performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
What They’re Looking For
- 10 years of experience in warehouse operations preferred
- Proven experience leading multi-site warehouse operations or a complex, high-volume distribution environment.
- Strong background in manufacturing and/or distribution (required).
- Track record of driving measurable operational improvements and scaling processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems and strong Excel capabilities.
- Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable walking the floor and executing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field strongly preferred.
- Professional Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
- Experience managing large teams with clear performance metrics and accountability structures.
