What You’ll Do:
You’ll be the main person in charge on the job site, making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll work closely with subcontractors, keep projects on schedule, and make sure work is done safely and correctly.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily job site activities and subcontractors
- Make sure work is done according to plans, budget, and schedule
- Review drawings and report any issues
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and deliveries
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
- Track daily progress and update schedules
- Run weekly meetings with subcontractors
- Coordinate inspections and testing (concrete, soil, etc.)
- Manage materials and equipment on site
- Ensure safety standards (OSHA) are followed
- Handle change orders and report updates to the Project Manager
- Help close out projects (final inspections, punch lists, as-builts)
- 7 years of construction experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction or site development
- Ability to read blueprints and manage job site operations
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
- Familiar with OSHA safety standards and building codes
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and project tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
