Construction Superintendent/QCM - Commercial Construction with Federal Government

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Superintendent/QCM with a strong background in commercial construction and preferred but not required, government contracting. This role requires 5 years of industry experience, including experience with $2M projects.

You’ll be leading complex construction projects from start to finish — ensuring timelines, budgets, compliance, and quality standards are met. We’re looking for a confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle competing priorities with ease.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day construction activities and supervise field personnel.
· Coordinate subcontractors and ensure their work meets quality standards.
· Implement project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
· Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work progresses as planned.
· Communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
· Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• E*xperience with construction contracts*.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6, and MS Project.
• Familiarity with government contracting standards, especially FAR.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
• familiar working on government projects (preferred but not required).
• PMP Certification is a plus but not required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
