- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for subcontractors, inspectors, utilities, and municipal officials
- Review drawings and specifications and identify issues before they impact schedule or cost
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and keep work progressing according to plan
- Monitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA compliance
- Oversee material deliveries and verify accuracy against purchase orders
- Track daily progress, maintain field reports, and communicate updates to the office
- Lead site meetings and provide clear status updates on schedule, issues, and next steps
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality control throughout the project
- Manage site logistics, temporary utilities, and general jobsite organization
- Process and communicate field changes and change order needs
- Drive punch list completion, as-builts, final inspections, and project closeout
- 7 years of commercial construction experience
- Prior Superintendent experience with a General Contractor strongly preferred
- Experience overseeing commercial construction and/or site development projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and OSHA requirements
- Ability to read plans, review specifications, and catch issues early
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, scheduling, budgeting, and take-offs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams accountable
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with subcontractors, inspectors, project managers, and ownership
- Comfortable in a high-accountability environment where urgency, follow-through, and professionalism matter
- Stable work history with solid tenure
