Associate Financial Advisor

Title: Service Advisor
Compensation: $75,000 base (based on current licensure) 15% performance bonus
Location: Slater, Iowa 

Role Overview

The Service Advisor is a full-time, client-facing position within a private wealth management team. This role provides exposure to financial planning and client relationship management while supporting senior advisors in delivering a seamless and high-quality client experience. The position offers a clear growth trajectory toward becoming a Lead Advisor, with structured professional development milestones and licensing goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in client meetings (in-person, virtual, and via email) and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

• Take detailed meeting notes, conduct debriefs, and manage client follow-through to maintain a consistent client experience.

• Maintain workflow and data integrity within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

• Support senior advisors by creating and maintaining comprehensive financial plans.

• Prepare materials and review client information in advance of meetings.

• Serve as a secondary relationship manager for assigned clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in financial services preferred.

• Life & Health Insurance License required within 6 months of employment.

• Series 7 & 63 Licenses required within 12 months of employment.

• CFP certification encouraged by the end of year two.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Highly motivated, growth-oriented, and passionate about serving clients.

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

• High integrity and commitment to putting client needs first.
