We are hiring an experienced CNC Setup Operator (Lathe) for a well-established U.S. manufacturer producing precision components used in energy, environmental, and industrial pump systems.

What You’ll Do
- Perform full setups and operation of CNC and manual lathes / turning centers
- Machine precision components from blueprints and specifications
- Execute operations including turning, drilling, boring, and threading
- Work with tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Perform first-piece inspections and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize performance
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- 3 years of machining experience
- Proven experience with CNC lathe setups (not operator-only)
- Experience with manual lathes or turning centers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining specs
- Strong understanding of precision measurement tools
- Experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Stable work history and strong attention to detail
- CNC Lathe Setup Operator experience
- Experience machining pump, valve, or mechanical components
- Tight tolerance machining experience
- Job shop or production machining background
- Familiarity with common controls (Fanuc, Mazak, etc.)
