Compensation: $100,000–$140,000 DOE full benefits

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a respected heavy civil contractor to hire an experienced Bridge / Heavy Civil Superintendent.

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on field leader who knows how to run bridge, structural concrete, and infrastructure projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead day-to-day field operations on bridge and heavy civil projects
• Manage crews, subcontractors, equipment, and site activity
• Drive production while keeping projects on schedule and on budget
• Review plans, drawings, shop drawings, and project specs
• Oversee bridge work, structural concrete, and roadway-related activity
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and field teams
• Track daily production, manpower, quantities, and equipment usage
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and compliance
• Solve field issues quickly and keep work moving

What They’re Looking For

• 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent
• Strong background in bridge construction and heavy civil work
• Experience on DOT and municipal infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Strong field leadership and communication skills
• Safety-first mindset
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Strongly Preferred

• CDOT project experience
• Experience with:
  
  • substructure
  • superstructure
  • decking
  • structural concrete
  • bridge rehab
  • pile driving
  • steel girders
  • formwork
  • earthwork
