Our client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Private Credit Operations Associate to support its growing credit platform. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to the full lifecycle of private credit investments within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of private credit transactions, including trade capture, settlement, and post-trade support
- Support deal closings by reviewing credit agreements, coordinating funding mechanics, and ensuring accurate booking of transactions
- Process and reconcile high volumes of allocations, payments, and wires across multiple credit facilities
- Oversee cash flow activity, including interest, principal, and drawdowns
- Partner closely with investment, legal, and finance teams, as well as external counterparties (agents, trustees, administrators)
- Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure accuracy of positions, cash, and reporting
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end processes, including audit and reporting support
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in operations or middle office within asset management, hedge funds, or banking
- Strong experience supporting private credit, direct lending, or leveraged loan products
- Deep understanding of syndicated loans, CLOs, credit facilities, and the loan trade lifecycle
- Proven ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Experience supporting deal closings and interpreting credit agreements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with systems such as Clearpar, WSO, LoanIQ, Debtdomain
