Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in private credit (non-sponsored) or special situations
- Strong financial modelling skills with a focus on credit analysis and downside protection
- Solid understanding of capital structures, security packages, and restructuring frameworks
- Experience working on complex or multi-layered transactions preferred
- Ability to manage multiple live deals in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and execution skills
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite private credit and special situations investment opportunities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including downside, recovery, and restructuring scenarios
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence across financial, legal, and operational dimensions
- Support structuring and negotiation of hybrid and bespoke capital solutions
- Prepare investment committee materials and present transaction recommendations
- Monitor portfolio investments and engage with borrowers, sponsors, and advisors
- Contribute to thematic sourcing and market mapping across credit and opportunistic strategies
