We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support accounting operations across a portfolio of real estate projects. This role will be involved in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and close processes, partnering with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financials from project start through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Record journal entries and support month/quarter-end close
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting schedules
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Support cash activity, including payments and forecasting
- Help manage AP/AR processes, including invoice review and receivables tracking
- Assist with audits and tax preparation by organizing required documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation of procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (real estate or similar industry preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
- Understanding of GAAP principles
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team player with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
