Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Williamsport, Indiana. The Accountant is responsible for processing financial transactions including AP, AR, general ledger, and job costing. Daily tasks may include processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, journal entries, data collection and analysis, resolving discrepancies, and generating reports for management. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to support accurate financial records and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and job costing processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, auditing processes, and reconciling accounts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental and external coordination.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
