The Investor Relations team plays a leading role in fundraising, business development, and maintaining strong relationships with the firm's Limited Partners (LPs). As a Senior IR Associate, you will take ownership of critical materials, processes, and investor engagement initiatives while collaborating across the organization to contribute to the firm's success. This role carries a significant level of responsibility with a focus on the firm's private equity platform, offering high visibility with senior leadership and meaningful exposure to a world-class LP base. Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and maintenance of all LP collateral, including but not limited to pitchbooks, case studies, ownership materials, fact sheets, and custom presentations
- Complete and oversee project management of investor requests, reporting, letters, DDQs, and RFPs
- Lead AGM project management, coordinating with investors, internal counterparties, and portfolio company executives
- Plan and oversee investor events, conference calls, podcasts, and related programming
- Support and liaise with external consultants on various PR initiatives and LP communications
- Become an active CRM user; establish and lead CRM best practices and oversight, including proactive updates, tracking, contact entry, and data clean-up
- Assist with the development of management reporting, prospecting pipelines, and other internal reporting or presentations
- Develop and manage relationships with a defined set of LPs in partnership with coverage, serving as a product specialist and key point of contact for portfolio and strategy-related inquiries
- Collaborate with the broader team on strategic messaging for LPs across firm materials and communications
- Support other IR-related initiatives as they arise
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience; investor relations, fundraising, or placement agent experience preferred
- Direct experience in private equity IR preferred; private credit or adjacent asset class backgrounds also considered
- Demonstrated ability to manage LP-facing processes independently, including diligence, content creation, and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with high EQ
- Ability to build command of new information quickly — this person should be able to come up to speed on a large, complex portfolio and articulate it to sophisticated investors
- Strong process orientation; highly organized with strong judgment and attention to detail
- Collaborative and works well cross-functionally, particularly alongside coverage and product teams
- Ability to move quickly between a hands-on, operations-focused view and a strategic outlook
- Embodies the highest standards of integrity, both professionally and personally
- Intrinsically motivated to initiate, work hard, and have a positive impact
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (strong PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred)
