About the Role We are seeking an experienced mandarin/cantonese speaking, hands-on Resident Manager to lead daily operations at a premier luxury residential community. You will oversee a skilled maintenance and janitorial team, deliver an exceptional resident experience, and serve as the on-site leadership presence keeping the building running at the highest standard. On-site housing (1 bed / 1 bath, ~680 sq ft) is included as part of the compensation package.
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000 – $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
- Hire, train, coach, and supervise the maintenance and janitorial team; lead daily huddles and safety meetings
- Oversee all maintenance, repairs, and apartment turnovers
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and janitorial schedules; conduct regular walkthroughs
- Resolve escalated resident service requests; oversee move-in orientations and satisfaction follow-ups
- Manage site budgets, approve emergency purchases, and review vendor contracts and performance
- Coordinate 24/7 on-call coverage for urgent issues including floods and outages
- Maintain payroll, scheduling, attendance, and training records
- Collaborate with leasing, concierge, and lifestyle teams; act as on-site leader in the GM's absence
Qualifications
- 2 years supervising maintenance or building operations teams
- Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese (required)
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance
- Ability to lead calmly and decisively during emergencies
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital maintenance systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus
Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
