- Operate industrial dryers, washers, and other laundry machinery efficiently and safely to process large volumes of linens and garments.
- Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to size, type, and cleaning requirements.
- Handle materials with manual dexterity, ensuring proper care during washing, drying, and folding processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by adhering to strict safety standards in production environments.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving bulky linens or equipment using appropriate techniques to prevent injury.
- Support dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring delicate items are treated with specialized care.
- Follow all safety protocols related to materials handling and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of guest service expectations.
