What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk position at Microtel Inn & Suites?
We are seeking an overnight 11:00 pm-7:00 am Part-Time Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent. This would be about 24-32 hours a week.
We are looking for someone hardworking and on time. Duties and Responsibilities include the following,
- Acts as manager on duty and follows the prescribed MOD (Manager On Duty) procedures on communication, emergency procedures, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensures that the night audit procedures are completed on a daily basis and the information entered and posted are accurate, balanced, and timely.
- Enters information and prints night audit reports in an accurate and timely manner per night audit guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of computers is required.
- Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations.
- Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies.
- Maintains the shift-to-shift log accurately to ensure proper communication between shifts is maintained.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby and front desk area.
- Setting up breakfast every morning as per hotel guidelines.
- Washes, folds, and properly stores laundry (depending on business unit) as needed.
- Must be able to stand during shift hours as needed.
