What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper/Breakfast Attendant position at Microtel Inn & Suites?
Duties:
2 days a week will be Breakfast attendant and 3 days a week will be Housekeeper.
- Perform custodial duties, including cleaning and maintaining designated areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the housekeeping management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
