Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing.
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal cleaning results.
- Perform quality checks on cleaned items, removing stains or damages as needed and reporting issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, storage rooms, and drying equipment.
- Follow proper procedures for dry cleaning and special fabric care when applicable.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the hotel by ensuring laundry supplies are well-organized and readily accessible.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and safety procedures is a plus.
