Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to efficiently clean textiles.
• Handle laundry materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, washing, drying, and folding of linens and garments.
• Maintain sanitation standards by following safety protocols and using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely throughout the facility.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as loading/unloading laundry carts and managing heavy items with proper lifting techniques.
• Adhere strictly to safety standards in production environments, including proper use of safety gear and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services and ensuring timely delivery of cleaned items.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, laundry processes, and textile cleaning techniques including dry cleaning when necessary.
• Ability to operate garment care machines safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, and managing inventory levels.
• Experience with materials handling equipment such as push carts for transporting laundry loads.
• Excellent attention to detail in garment care, stain removal, and linen presentation.
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with high-volume laundry operations and customer service expectations.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
