Job Description
- Post and analyze Key Business Indicators in support of company and corporate goals
- Assist in developing and mentoring quality personnel to reduce inspection turn-backs
- Install statistical sampling plans and process monitoring; analyze and report trends
- Assist the Quality Engineer Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System
- Lead the preparation and submittal of First Article Inspection Reports
- Perform internal audits (quality system and 6S) independently
- Support external audits including customer, registrar, NADCAP, and third-party audits
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering environment
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
- Thorough understanding of inspection methods, techniques, and equipment
- Experience in the aerospace manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of 6S and blueprint reading, including GD&T
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations
- Strong understanding of AS9102 First Article Inspection submittal process
- Ability to perform internal audits independently
