Job Description
- Partner with plant leadership to establish and drive quality improvement initiatives aligned with business goals
- Lead supplier quality improvement efforts, including PPAP, APQP, and reduction of supplier impact events
- Drive resolution of technical quality issues across manufacturing with a focus on process stability
- Develop and implement process controls, gaging strategies, and "no‑touch" inspection technologies
- Support quality technicians by tracking performance goals and providing technical guidance
- Lead corrective actions related to supplier nonconformances and quality system adherence
- Mentor internal teams on APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and standard work
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering with a strong quality focus
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, supplier quality, or operations
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, metrology, gage R&R, and capability studies
- Experience with machining and assembly processes (CNC, grinding, tight‑tolerance manufacturing)
- Hands‑on experience with supplier quality tools and process improvement methodologies
- Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and drive root cause solutions
- Injection Molding experience preferred
- High‑visibility role with real influence on manufacturing quality and supplier performance
