Job Description
The Superintendent will oversee all on‑site construction operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality across assigned projects. This role is highly autonomous and requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead day-to-day field operations and subcontractor coordination
- Maintain project schedule and ensure daily/weekly milestones are met
- Oversee site safety, enforce protocols, and conduct safety meetings
- Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes
- Conduct daily reports, site documentation, and progress updates
- Manage inspections, quality control, and punch list completion
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and field teams
The Successful Applicant
You are a seasoned Superintendent who thrives in the field and knows how to run a project from sitework through punch list. You lead proactively, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards of safety, schedule, and quality.
You Bring
- 8-15 years of commercial construction field experience
- Strong background in ground‑up and/or major renovation work
- Healthcare project experience preferred (not required)
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field coordination
- Experience overseeing multiple phases of construction independently
- Strong daily reporting, scheduling, and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and digital field tools
