Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Premier Government Projects will be responsible for:

• Assist in managing daily on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment on site.
• Inspect work progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Provide support in resolving project-related issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of project milestones and resource allocation.
• Communicate regularly with the Superintendent and Project Manager to provide updates and address any concerns.

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Superintendent - Premier Government Projects Should Have

• 2 years of (assistant) superintendent experience with a general contractor
• Experience working on ground up projects over $5M
• Experience working in government contracting is preferred
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related (preferred)
• OSHA 30
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam or other construction related software
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
