Description

The Superintendent - Government/Defence Projects - NoVA should be responsible for:

  • Managing and oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols at all times.
  • Reviewing and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitoring project progress and provide regular updates to management and relevant parties.
  • Resolving any on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of project activities, including daily logs and reports.

Profile

The Superintendent - Government/Defence Projects - NoVA should have:

  • 5 years of Superintendent experience
  • Experience working on high end interior fit outs (healthcare, government, SCIF, technology, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage on-site teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges during project execution.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Job Offer

The Superintendent - Government/Defence Projects - NoVA may receive:
