Construction Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 100k/year - Richmond, VA
- Our client, a specialty contractor focused on environmental remediation, abatement, and demolition, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This organization delivers services across government, industrial, commercial, and maritime environments, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and technical execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects involving environmental remediation, abatement, demolition, and asbestos-related scopes from preconstruction through completion
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and environmental regulations (federal, state, and local)
- Develop project scopes, prepare estimates, and support proposal development
- Coordinate project schedules, subcontractors, labor, and materials
- Oversee field operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Track project costs, support billing, and maintain accurate project documentation
- Communicate with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project success
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience managing construction projects within demolition, abatement, environmental remediation, or asbestos-related work
- Experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and environmental regulations
- Experience coordinating project schedules, subcontractors, and field operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range
