- Our client, a well-established company in the home appliance industry, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business and manage client relationships within the builder, contractor, and design community.
- This is a field-based B2B sales role focused on both luxury and standard large home appliances, offering uncapped earning potential within a high-performance sales environment. The role supports a 30–50 mile territory around Princeton, NJ and includes a combination of remote work, showroom collaboration, and in-field client visits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and trade professionals
- Prospect and generate new business while managing an existing pipeline and client base
- Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and consultations within a 30–50 mile territory
- Sell and recommend products across categories including refrigeration, cooking, dishwashing, and laundry appliances
- Collaborate with internal teams, including showroom staff, to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
- Stay current on product offerings, pricing, and industry trends
- Close sales and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Qualifications:
- 3 years of outside B2B sales experience specifically within large home appliances (wholesale, showroom, or related environment)
- Proven success in a commission-based sales role with measurable revenue performance
- Established relationships within the builder, contractor, or interior design community strongly preferred
- Experience selling products such as refrigerators, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, washers/dryers, or similar
- Ability to independently manage territory, pipeline, and full sales cycle
- Proficiency with CRM or ERP systems
- Strong closing skills and ability to generate new business
Compensation:
- Base pay of $15.92/hour, plus uncapped commission
- Total compensation typically ranges from 70k - 300k annually based on performance
- Commission structure based on gross margin with tiered incentives
