Job Description

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates forground up, renovation, and interiorbuild out commercial projects.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes.
• Develop conceptual budgets, schematic pricing, and full GMP proposals.
• Solicit, evaluate, and scope subcontractor bids to ensure coverage and alignment.
• Maintain active communication with project managers, preconstruction leadership, and clients.
• Participate in value engineering, constructability reviews, and cost saving solution development.
• Support handoff to operations teams to ensure alignment with budget and scope.

The Successful Applicant

• 3 years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong understanding of CSI divisions, commercial construction means and methods, and subcontractor trades.
• Proficient in estimating software, takeoff tools, and construction management platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously across varied market sectors.
• Detail oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
