Senior Procurement Manager

MFUSED
Scottsdale, AZ Full Time
POSTED ON 11/25/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/25/2026

The Role

The Senior Procurement Manager strengthens MFUSED’s multi state supply chain by leading vendor sourcing, replenishment strategies, and procurement execution in a dynamic, high growth environment. The role works collaboratively throughout the organization, both domestically and internationally, to ensure that the right product is available at the right location at the right time. This leader combines strategic insight with a roll up the sleeves approach and excels in taking apart and rebuilding processes, workflows, approval structures, and inventory management systems to support future scale. The Senior Procurement Manager ensures continuity of materials, elevates vendor performance, and safeguards MFUSED’s ability to grow responsibly while reinforcing a culture of innovation, partnership, and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a strong procurement team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and cross functional collaboration.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics that evaluate supplier reliability, fill rates, on time delivery, quality compliance, inventory turns, and Gross Margin Return on Investment (GMROI).
  • Partner with internal teams to evaluate, select, and negotiate vendor agreements that provide competitive pricing, reliable service commitments, and long term value.
  • Apply a roll up the sleeves mindset by evaluating current procurement processes, deconstructing inefficient workflows, redesigning approval pathways, and establishing inventory management standards that enhance accuracy and scalability.
  • Build scalable procurement processes that increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and improve visibility across the purchasing lifecycle.
  • Oversee purchase order execution, lead time management, minimum order quantities, contract compliance, and master data accuracy.
  • Develop supplier improvement plans and collaborate with vendors to address root causes of performance issues and elevate service levels.
  • Conduct market research, spend analysis, and cost modeling to identify sourcing opportunities and support financial and operational goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by leading vendor scorecard development, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier base.
  • Expand and maintain a global vendor portfolio that provides competitive advantage through responsible sourcing, proactive risk mitigation, and strategic negotiation.
  • Support new product development by identifying sourcing pathways, establishing cost frameworks, and ensuring procurement readiness for launches.
  • Monitor supply chain volatility, evaluate alternative suppliers, mitigate single source dependencies, and build continuity plans.
  • Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product teams to ensure alignment and cross functional execution.
  • Incorporate best practices in sustainability, ethical sourcing, and vendor compliance to reinforce MFUSED’s values and brand reputation.
  • Manage personnel responsibilities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workload planning.
  • Present clear reporting on supplier trends, inventory positions, risks, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, production management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • 7 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience within manufacturing or wholesale operations.
  • Expertise in inventory management, purchasing analytics, and cost optimization strategies in fast paced production environments.
  • Strong understanding of packaging components, manufacturing inputs, and commodity driven supply markets.
  • Demonstrated history improving supplier reliability, inventory turns, or spend efficiency.
  • Proficiency with demand driven planning systems, advanced procurement tools, and data informed decision making.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with commitment to process excellence.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain clarity and accountability in high growth environments.
  • Experience developing procurement talent and building a cohesive, high performing team.
  • Ability to identify operational gaps and create practical, scalable improvements based on best practices.
