Job Summary: We are seeking a high-potential Site People Partner to serve as a primary HR presence for our on-site location.This role is onsite four days per week and provides hands-on support across employee relations, compliance, and employee lifecycle activities.
The Site People Partner will handle routine employee relations matters independently while escalating complex or high-risk issues to the Senior Director of HR.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact at the site (onsite 4 days per week), providing consistent, credible employee-facing support to both onsite and remote employees.
- Independently manage routine employee relations matters, including performance concerns, attendance issues, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation, escalating complex, high-risk, or precedent-setting matters to the Senior Director of HR.
- Advise and coach managers on performance management, corrective actions, documentation standards, and consistent application of employment policies and practices.
- Apply sound judgment to ensure fair and compliant employment decisions aligned with company policy and applicable labor laws.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready employee documentation; identify potential compliance risks or inconsistencies and recommend corrective action as appropriate.
- Support and document internal investigations under the guidance of senior HR leadership and contribute to audit preparation and compliance review activities.
- Execute employee lifecycle processes with independent judgment, including but not limited to onboarding/offboarding, performance cycle administration, job changes and compensation updates.
- Partner with hiring managers to support the talent acquisition process, ensuring a consistent and compliant candidate experience.
- Partner with HR leadership on benefits administration (including open enrollment and employee inquiries) and learning and development programs, including scheduling and coordination.
- Guide managers during performance review cycles to ensure documentation quality, process adherence, and alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with People Operations to ensure accurate system updates, data integrity, and consistent process execution.

Job Qualifications (Experience, Education, Knowledge, and Skills):
- 4–6 years of progressive HR experience
-BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Foundational employee relations experience with growing independence.
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work onsite 4 days per week at San Jose site.
