Job Summary
The People Data & Analytics Specialist supports HR data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development, with a primary focus on Workday and related HR systems. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable people insights that support data-driven decision-making while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance Workday reports and dashboards using Report Writer, Advanced Reporting, and related tools.
- Support recurring HR reporting, metrics, and dashboards across HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Business Partners.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, data quality issues, and actionable insights.
- Manage ad hoc reporting requests for leadership, audits, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor data integrity across HR systems and recommend process improvements.
- Support federal, state, and internal compliance reporting requirements.
- Maintain reporting documentation, standard operating procedures, and job aids.
- Handle sensitive employee data with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, or HR analytics.
- Experience with HR systems and analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Quantum Workplace, MAXQDA, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting HR, People Analytics, or Talent-related functions.
- Workday Reporting or Pro Certification (or progress toward certification) preferred.
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience is a plus.
