Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking for a skilled maintenance technician to become part of our team in Milwaukee, WI. The perfect applicant will possess the background and technical abilities outlined below.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a GED or high school diploma.
• At least two years of professional background in a maintenance role.
• Prior work in a manufacturing setting, preferably within heavy industry, to help ensure smooth production operations.
• Proven ability to perform equipment repairs.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electromechanical components, such as sensors and switches.
• Ability to analyze wiring schematics to help resolve equipment failures efficiently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and work instructions to help maintain clear communication and operational standards.
• Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and tracking tasks within a CMMS platform.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel or similar software.
• Competency in email communication to help document technical issues and their subsequent resolutions.

Preferred Skills

• An Associate degree focused on industrial maintenance.
• Previous exposure to automation or PLC systems.
• Relevant coursework completed toward a Journeyman maintenance mechanic certification.
