About the Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in upholding the integrity of our precision-manufactured components by ensuring every part meets rigorous standards. You will utilize your expertise in precision measurement and technical documentation to drive product excellence throughout the entire production lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive mechanical and visual inspections across receiving, in-process, and final assembly stages to ensure zero-defect output.
- Lead First Article Inspections (FAIs) to validate that production processes align with strict quality management systems and client specifications.
- Maintain meticulous inspection records and digital data logs to ensure full traceability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the calibration and preventative maintenance of metrology equipment to guarantee measurement accuracy and compliance with international standards.
- Partner with engineering teams to analyze non-conforming materials and facilitate effective dispositioning processes.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits to demonstrate adherence to organizational quality policies and objectives.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within a highly regulated precision-manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Advanced proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Hands-on expertise with precision hand metrology tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to manage quality data and maintain accurate electronic documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 10012 or similar calibration standards.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in high-stakes quality environments to prevent non-conformance.
