Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functionality of our facility's equipment and systems. In this role, you will be pivotal in performing preventative maintenance, conducting necessary repairs, and identifying potential issues before they escalate. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, coupled with your problem-solving abilities, will contribute significantly to maintaining a safe and efficient operational environment.

• Execute preventative maintenance schedules on machinery to maximize uptime and minimize disruptions.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions, restoring equipment to full functionality.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests, resolving issues to maintain operational continuity.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as conveyors, pumps, and motors, ensuring optimal performance.
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage, for accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance and support overall operational goals.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Solid understanding of safety standards and practices in a maintenance environment.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
