About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing efficiency upgrades. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will be essential to our continued success.
Responsibilities- Execute planned and preventative maintenance on FOAM, MFPP, and EPS equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair extrusion, thermoforming, and auxiliary equipment, utilizing infrared inspections and PM schedules.
- Interpret electrical and mechanical prints, drawings, and schematics to facilitate effective maintenance and repairs.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by assisting in the creation and maintenance of Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify and implement equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in pneumatics, blueprint/schematic reading (mechanical/electrical), welding, shop equipment operation, and fabrication.
- Solid understanding of AC and DC drives, PLCs, servo motors, and encoders.
- Experience working with high and low voltage controls and systems (110V, 220V, 480V).
Preferred Skills
- Two-year mechanical degree or four years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Welding certification and experience.
- Experience with measurement instrument interpretation.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics and vacuum systems.
- Forklift operation certification.
