Production Lead
The Production Lead is responsible for leading production associates, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, maximizing line efficiency, and supporting the successful completion of production schedules. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a food manufacturing or food production setting and be comfortable working hands-on with production equipment and team members.
Requirements of the Production Lead
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Good job stability
- Previous leadership or lead experience in a food manufacturing, food production, or food packaging environment
- Experience operating or troubleshooting production equipment
- Understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and quality standards
- Basic computer skills and experience completing production documentation
- Ability to work overtime and a flexible schedule as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities of the Production Lead
- Lead and coordinate daily activities for assigned production lines
- Supervise production associates to ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations
- Monitor production schedules and prioritize orders to meet customer and shipping deadlines
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust production equipment as needed
- Train and cross-train team members on production processes and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards
- Complete production, quality, attendance, and operational reports accurately
- Conduct line changeovers and verify finished products meet established specifications
- Monitor line performance and communicate safety, staffing, quality, or production concerns to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with scheduling and production teams to maximize efficiency and productivity
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $25.00 - $30.00 hourly, based on experience
