Engineering Manager
The Engineering / Project Manager leads project-based engineering support and oversees scheduling and execution within a manufacturing environment. This role supports cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures projects are completed on time while meeting quality and production goals.
Requirements of the Engineering Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and production processes
- Experience with resource planning, team leadership, and performance management
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and G-code programming software (AP100 or similar)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager
- Provide engineering support across all production and value stream teams
- Coordinate technical support and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events
- Monitor productivity metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Ensure clear communication across engineering, production, and leadership teams
- Maintain project schedules and support on-time delivery for internal and external customers
- Remove barriers impacting team performance and support daily operations
- Develop and mentor team members, including conducting performance evaluations
Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $130,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience
