Refrigeration Technician

Our client, a leading provider of facility management and engineering services, is seeking a Mobile Engineer to join their team. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile Engineer

Location: Shelby Township, MI

Pay Range: $36-42/hr. dependant on experience

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems within assigned facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Conduct inspections of interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across HVAC/R systems, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner, minimizing downtime through proactive repairs.
  
  

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and equipment maintenance.
• HVAC Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work at heights, and operate in adverse conditions.
