Manufacturing Operations Manager
We're looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our CNC milling operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our CNC milling processes. Your leadership will drive our team to meet and exceed production goals while upholding the highest standards of precision and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily CNC milling operations to maintain optimal production flow and quality.
- Mentor and develop a team of CNC machinists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
- Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to boost efficiency and safety protocols.
- Monitor machine performance, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to improve machining processes and product designs.
- Manage inventory of tools and materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Conduct regular safety assessments and champion a safety-first environment within the team.
- Generate reports on production metrics, offering data-driven recommendations for ongoing improvements.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in CNC milling operations, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- In-depth understanding of CNC programming and machining methods.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in CNC Tooling and Programming.
