Payroll Manager
A rapidly expanding US business is looking for a hands-on Payroll Manager to take charge of payroll, vendor payments, and financial processes across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving improvements, streamlining operations, and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day financial activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead payroll processing for US employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable, client billing, and collections efficiently.
- Oversee vendor invoices, review for accuracy, and schedule timely payments.
- Reconcile daily banking transactions and support month-end financial reporting.
- Prepare corporate filings, including taxes and 1099 reporting.
- Maintain organized records and assist with administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement practical solutions.
Who You Are
- Experienced in payroll, finance, or administration, ideally in a multi-site business.
- Confident with Excel (advanced), QuickBooks, SAP S/4HANA, or similar systems.
- Process-oriented, with the ability to spot inefficiencies and improve workflows.
- Collaborative, approachable, and able to communicate clearly with colleagues and vendors.
- Motivated to take ownership of your role and see projects through to completion.
