MacGregor Black is partnering with a global, market-leading consumer electronics brand to recruit a National Account Manager.
As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving, managing, and expanding sales across the US market. You will build and maintain strong relationships with major retailers and key partners, while leading a variety of account management initiatives. This role requires someone who thrives under pressure, maintains strong attention to detail, and takes ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive P&L performance across key national accounts
- Build, develop, and strengthen relationships with major retail partners
- Lead all aspects of account management, including line reviews, assortment planning, and joint business planning
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage inventory flow to optimise stock availability and minimise risk
- Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute promotional strategies that maximise sell-through
- Analyse retailer data, POS insights, and internal reporting to identify growth opportunities
- Negotiate pricing, promotional programmes, and trade spend to enhance profitability and market share
- Monitor competitor activity, category trends, and retailer strategies to inform commercial decisions
- Manage and hold rep groups accountable for strong in-market execution
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years’ experience in CPG sales, with direct responsibility for national or key retail accounts
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing large retail relationships
- Experience working with major retail partners
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and the ability to work with large data sets
- Solid commercial understanding of forecasting, trade spend, and margin management
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to buyers and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
- Experience in small kitchen appliances or durable goods CPG is highly desirable
