Product Manager - Advanced Semiconductor Hardware - New Jersey
Lumicity is partnered with a rapidly growing semiconductor startup developing next-generation high-speed hardware for data-intensive computing environments.
We're recruiting for someone who can sit at the intersection of customers, engineering, product execution and manufacturing readiness translating technical capability into realistic product timelines, specifications, testing plans, documentation and customer commitments.
The right person will be close enough to the technology to challenge engineering timelines, understand product risk, and help turn complex, highspeed hardware into customer-ready products.
Role: Product Manager / Technical Product Lead
Compensation: $155,000 - $170,000 Equity
Location: Hybrid - New Jersey, United States
Key requirements:
- Experience in semiconductor hardware, optical communications, networking, high-speed electronics, advanced packaging, data center infrastructure, or adjacent deep-tech hardware environments.
- Strong ability to translate customer requirements into product specifications, roadmap priorities, schedules, testing plans, documentation and engineering deliverables.
- Experience across technical product development, product engineering, validation, qualification, NPI, manufacturing readiness or hardware release cycles.
- Ability to work closely with engineering, customers, leadership, test, operations, vendors, manufacturing partners or external technical teams.
- Strong judgement around product readiness, including the ability to challenge unrealistic timelines and keep external commitments grounded in engineering, testing and production reality.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and commercial conversations across internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a startup environment where ownership, urgency and structure matter.
Highly relevant experience:
- High-speed hardware products for optical communications, networking, data center, AI infrastructure or advanced semiconductor applications.
- Product engineering, NPI, DVT, reliability qualification, manufacturing test, yield improvement, datasheet creation or customer-facing technical product ownership.
- Working with semiconductor design, packaging, test, firmware, hardware, manufacturing, CM/OSAT or module teams.
